While you guys are patting yourselves on the back and calling everybody names, let me give you an Independents perspective.

Did DeSantis do the right thing? It could have been handled better, no doubt, but call him whatever you want because it's irrelevant to my point.

Have Democrats responded in the right way? Not even close. I've never seen such hypocrisy.

All of this noise because 48 people showed up in the wrong backyard? A city who claimed to have open arms? Instead they cried loud enough that the nation finally heard it after 2 years of border states begging for help.

Where were all of you during the last 4.2 million people? What about the 2000 who have died? Not one single word out of anyone, meanwhile the people of Texas themselves are footing the 850 million dollar bill to support these migrants without shred of help from the rest of the country.

I'm sorry, but I don't see a single positive thing about how the left has responded to this situation. I feel I woke up in the bizarro world.

Never would I have believed that the only party who seems to care about these people is Red.
