Maybe the first to ban models, but discrimination based on race is present in many countries and is very racist.

Japan is one example. Employers cannot discriminate based on nationality, but discrimination based on race is allowed. So they can't ban you for being American, but, if you're white or black, they absolutely and legally can and do. In India, employers cannot discriminate on gender when hiring, but everything else including race us fine. China can discriminate over race, bur not ethnicities. That almost half the world's population right there. Nigeria, as is evident, prohibits ethnic group racism, but racial discrimination is just fine.

Truth is, the majority of the world's population is racist when it comes to employment.
