Keep in mind that 51% of the population in Texas is Hispanic, white people are minorities, and in many cities in Texas the official language is Spanish. Even in big cities like Houston you need to know at least some Spanish to get around everywhere and the majority of the state does indeed speak Spanish.

The point being is that nobody (in Texas) has any issue with immigrants or asylum seekers, and certainly not non-white or non-English speakers because that define the states majority. They have an issue with illegal immigrants, human trafficking, drug smuggling (particularly fentanyl), and most of all human deaths which have skyrocketed.

Biden set an all time record of deaths at the border in 2021, which more than doubled what deaths were in 2020, then went on to shatter that record in 2022. The number aren’t in for 2023, but the report in August 23 had already matched the entire year of 2021.
